@slightlyflightyoneOriginal Bill Joy’s vi, as found in Illumos and commercial Unices, or the more polished version historically found on opensource BSDs, best known as nvihttp://netbsd.gw.com/cgi-bin/man-cgi?vi++NetBSD-current

@veer66Nope, as original vi was kept proprietary up until 2006, when the OpenSolaris version (improved by Horton, Joy et al. across the years)was released under CDDL. The latter can be found at http://ex-vi.sourceforge.net/, or on Illumos, where it's still default /usr/bin/vi, and is included in heirloom project for Linux http://heirloom.sourceforge.net/, alongside OSol Bourne Shell and other stuff.@slightlyflightyone

I think I've never blocked or muted any account in my life so far, here as elsewhere, excluding some spambots and malicious fake accounts. It's so easy not to follow people, and I don't see this urge to implement features meant to eliminate any trace of someone's present, past and future very existence on your timeline, aka damnatio memoriae. If some people from time to time boosts content I'm not interested in or annoyed by, really, I couldn't care less

@jsyou mean excluding the use of a USB dongle? Practically no chance since AFAICT nobody has ever even started to write a driver for SDIO bus, so there's really nothing to work on or test, but starting yourself from scratch

       # Emulating IRIX on MAMEAs pointed out to me by @15F9, starting with latest 0.207 release, and following the recent improvements carried out in regard of MIPS R4K CPU, WD33C93 SCSI and SGI Newport graphics emulation, MAME can now effectively run Sgi IRIX 5/6.x https://www.mamedev.org/?p=466#mame #emulation #sgi #irix

Ever wondered what does THC actually do to your brain? It binds 2 receptors, CB1/2, whose natural ligands are endogenous THC analogues, anandamide and 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG), better known as endocannabinoids. The word anandamide derives from Sanskrit 'ananda', meaning 'joy, bliss, delight'Endocannabinoids play a *fundamental* role in information processing: they allow brain to efficiently filter input from the sensory organsThey are the PF firewall of human brainstay tuned\1

Several studies suggest that gamma waves (high frequency neural oscillation pattern) create the unity of conscious perception within the thalamic-cortical relay (thalamus is a subcortical structure functioning as relay and marshalling yard for the whole brain); in order for brain to correctly process incoming stimuli, input (from thalamus)/output (to thalamus) electrical charges involving a selected cluster of cortical neurons have to be synchronous \2

gamma waves originating in the thalamus, sweep the brain from front to back, 40 times per second (40 Hz is the typical gamma frequency), drawing different neuronal circuits into synch with the incoming stimulus, thereby bringing the latter into the attentional foreground. If the thalamus is damaged even a little bit, this wave stops, conscious awarenesses do not form, and the patient slips into profound coma.\3
