@jk Let's go back to 3.1, things made sense then and we felt good about ourselves.

@calvin @djsundog So far the closed-source world hasn't done much better, where parents fundraise for "iPad carts" that do nothing because the software is a bad fit/too expensive for teachers to buy and there are no resources to build custom stuff (a la pre-private MECC).

@coryw @calvin @djsundog I got a turbo-rant about smartboards that I shouldn't emit in public.

@bhtooefr That's a clean job, especially on a used board. You can tell whoever designed the board in the first place got charged by the square inch on PCBs.

@calvin honestly I'm such a huge fan of the default jekyll theme that I want every website to look like it.

@bhtooefr It was also irritating to me as a kid that "double density" was smaller than "high density." High is unquantifiable!

@Sir_Boops as long as it works with Jekyll (with a git push trigger), that’s all I’m using heroku for right now

@bhtooefr The Tandy 1000, of course, gets this right. And by "right," I mean even more worryingly wrong.

Screw trying to fix the camera, let's just lock it rigidly to the back of the vehicle. This is so much better. Why didn't we do this in the first place? Was it a course requirement?I remember the shadows were required. I did such a terrible job on them. They're so bad.

@bhtooefr in my experience the ticket to endurance races is to just not break down. Rarely does the fastest car win its class in LeMons.

@68kmentat @paradroyd Yeah, I think I read about a few PPP bridges for the ESP8266 as well. They're not quite burly enough to do web browsing over, but I bet they'll work great for Hayes emulation.
