But I wonder how many folks appreciate that I use American-made components as much as possible, but judge the product because I advertise that its vegan.And for that matter, vegans who hate America, would rather buy from China because socialism.I don't know. @cvnt It's not my dietary choice. But it is many peoples choice in diety and fashion. Moreover, you could say that the brand aligning itself to American-made goods is preachy and self-adulterating, but you don't have beef with that.

@jessecoynelson Yeah I think I've been annoying people because I'm not a right winger and I argue with all forms of obvious bias. At least that's my theory. But I haven't lost followers. I get why you'd mute someone but not someone you keep following. Blocking says to me that you don't want a person in your life at all.

@jessecoynelson I still believe the left at its core believes in those values.I never truly conflated the left with the Democratic Party, although of course I voted that way. Today I vote for whoever looks like a better person. I voted for the Republican candidate for mayor in Philly this year, and Democrats in other roles.After getting to know more conservatives, I realized that its the same for the Republican Party. Essentially a liberal party, but goes full hog on weird shit like war.

@jessecoynelson The Democratic Party has really become Neocon while coopting social justice takes.I don't know though. The anti-establishment left and right seem to have more in common now than any time in my life, and it might grow into a consensus that really changes the parties long term.Could even be another crossover to where the Democrats become the conservatives and the Republicans become the liberals.It's happened before, right?

I mean, if you cut out all the corruption, all the corporate manipulation, and restored good diplomatic and economic relations worldwide, the whole world could live with good standards of living, varying but good.Our realm for whatever reason doesn't have intrinsic goodness, so this shit will never be utopian.My argument is this. Communities are responsible for themselves and federal programs should be deeply restrained. And honest diplomacy would save us trillions.

@jessecoynelson Let me be totally clear. It seems to me a federal income tax is unconstitutional, but property taxes are required. Therefore, it was always designed for municipalities and states to take care of themselves and lean on federal programs to bring us all together into one nation while our communities were ultimately responsible for themselves.I believe that we could restore such a nation but it's going to be tooth and nail with these sociopathic war mongering globalists.

@jessecoynelson I am a voluntarist at heart, but if you dismantled the government as we know it and communities devised a new system, I think we would end up naturally with taxation and regulations that keep civilization moving on an even, agreed upon pace and direction. So I don't mind paying for schools to educate people to become workers and citizens. We need that. It is mutual infrastructure like roads, health, and education that keeps civilization strong.

Haven't used NA Social in almost three weeks. Really slowed down all social media ingestion and participation during this time.This is the worst thing on the planet. Not this platform, but social media.It's the worst. It's a time suck. It's an emotional trap.I tried years ago to get all my friends on a mailing list and utterly forego social media. Couldn't do it. Tried. Can't.Most people are not promoting their work or creativity, and just clog it up with memes and partisan posts.SUX.
