@publicvoit By the way, I'm about to interview / just watch KMP's live video presentation of his his-ANSI-CL-condition-system for python implementation. Honestly, I *will* read your lazyblorg after but as a heavy python user [] do you use the error system or have a thought viz introducing lisp style handling? Over here I guess -> https://gamerplus.org/@screwlisp/115716249735336872

@prahou Who even needs vimscript."Autocomplete word from next file" in nvi:"a"wdb"b:w^M:n^M"cO/^["wp0"d"xdd@x"eyw:rew!^Mp"f@a@b@c@d@e(to use the autocomplete, press space, escape @f ) Edit: wrote ^M instead of RET etc.

@aral or better yet, a .page.md file that is able to seamlessly include other .page.md fragments. ( .fragment.md ?).

I think the most important #kitten #smallweb #webFramework structural feature is dynamically generating composite #markdown documents from reuseable fragments, the markdown then rendered into sanitized #html the usual way. #web #programming Article: https://screwlisp.small-web.org/kitten/this-is-just-arals-fragment-md-example/Which is admittedly just me reproducing one of @aral 's tutorials: https://kitten.small-web.org/tutorials/layout-components/#markdown-fragment-mdI can imagine you (yes you) have a sophisticated opinion on this topic I would like to hear.

Side note @aral did you notice how underscores sometimes work inside htmlised markdown code blocks.

@aral I just changed my list of articles front page mess to use a fragment.md for headings, for example to attach heading links below each heading in a simple way.So far I just put the heading details in kitten.db in main.script.js. e.g.https://codeberg.org/tfw/screwlisps-kitten/src/branch/main/main.script.jshttps://codeberg.org/tfw/screwlisps-kitten/src/branch/main/md/H.fragment.mdhttps://codeberg.org/tfw/screwlisps-kitten/src/branch/main/index.page.js#L11https://codeberg.org/tfw/screwlisps-kitten/src/branch/main/index.page.js#L21https://codeberg.org/tfw/screwlisps-kitten/src/branch/main/index.page.js#L43I am not sure how happy you would be if I put all my text forever into kitten.db, so I guess md fragments might also have a data role.

@lightweight I wasn't following your zymurgical expedition. What did you do? I guess add some largely unwashed... coconuts? sugar and salt to some water and seal it for a few days? Normally I find lemonade for an active culture is on the order of 3 days (well, I guess some summer heat will change that).

@lightweight Very good, just got to make sure the lentils don't have sulphites and haven't been irradiated. I'm not sure about washed rice. Washing rice seems like it would remove fermentation yeasts which live on the outside of the rice grains.I think chutneys should historically be fermented too.

@semitones One can imagine a lightly soiled mattress left on the curb outside a student apartment after a party with paper saying "FREE" taped to it. It's a pun on Free-as-in-freedom (good) vs Free-as-in-beer (like free beer at a condo timeshare investment opportunity seminar).@corycarson @gsuberland

Slop is big tech 3eing the internet.A timeline:1. Everything was mobile phone SMS based2. Everything mobile phone based switched to being cloud based (embracing the internet / cloud)3. Everything cloud based has now been involuntarily switched to a cloud based slop machine (extinguishing the internet)Happened to my entire country.

When I said I am away for two weeks possibly without internet access, that actually starts tomorrow.Expect @kentpitman and yours truly to be live about two hours from this toot (I will make a show toot closer-to). #lisp #commonLisp Generational differences in computing, the next-year itch.io common lisp condition plan, (and licensing discussions apropos that)Kent wrote a 4am code review of a block of code I sent him which is a pretty good anecdote.

@aartaka I had this feeling when I noticed I could just change +1 and -1 to foo and (complement foo) in a hopfield network, which is an implementation of (is dual to) deep learning (it turned out; they didn't know this originally). Then, all the conventional wisdom about the disadvantages and advantages of deep learning seem to mostly have been artifacts of the string encoding being used.@neauoire what should I read about your connexions (or dare I say, neurons!)?
