@raesene I agree. However the usability benefit of only having to manage one account, instead of 78, is also very real. Watching people struggle to sign into sites they infrequently use hurts. Password Managers can address this concern but their usability isn't there yet. If _I_ have to give a training session and semi-annual reminder on how to use it then it's not ready.

@raesene It's definitely a bit of a sticky wicket. I _feel_ that folks are probably more likely to lose access to something like Facebook than their email. But if email access is lost then yeah.... You're going to have a bad time.I'm not disagreeing or disputing your original statements, for the record. There definitely needs to be a solution that accounts for your concerns. Somehow.

Today I learned my daughter's 8th grade social studies class is still using the Daughters of the Confederacy curriculum. Complete with such gems as- Most slaves were actually pretty happy and well treated- Most slaves were so happy in their jobs that after emancipation they went right back- The Civil War was primarily an economic dispute, not about slavery- Plantation owners were excited to tell their property about their new freedomThis is just so fucking enraging.

@pierogipowered Well, to be fair I learned the same curriculum when I was in high school. But that was Kentucky in the 90s.But unfortunately no. This is what's, allegedly, a high ranking school district in Ohio.

Hey all. I know a pretty kick ass person who's found themselves on the job market. They're a PNW based individual looking for a remote gig as an Incident Response Manager flavored role.I've worked an incident with them and can vouch for their capabilities. When talking the client through what steps to perform they were knowledgeable, communicated clearly, empathetic, and professional. I'm more than happy to broker introductions or pass along info. They're a catch and I want to see them in a happy supportive place.#infosecjobs #incidentresponse
