@seldo hear me out: safeguards have existed to ensure sound banking practices that reduce customer risk.If a lettuce company had a massive E. coli outbreak after FDA testing was cancelled, you’d want that testing back right? Yes that company should fail, but it shouldn’t put people at risk while failing. Especially if that risk is invisible to the customer.

I don’t know everything about who they are and who they will love. What I do know is that they are filled with love and wonder and I don’t want anyone to hurt them for loving outside of some artificial boundary of acceptability.

We aren’t doing anything differently for #pride. ”A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo” continues to be one of our favorite books. If you have any good children’s book recommendations with LGBTQ+ representation we would love to add them to our library.

People make fun of the “what happens in the booth stays in the booth” election ads, but I know poll workers who have had to keep husbands out of their wive’s voting booths because they had to “make sure she votes right”. When I was phone banking I also talked with a woman who’s husband or boyfriend was clearly around and it almost definitely changed the nature of the call. Voter intimidation by men is a real problem and I’m glad these ads address it.#USPol #USElection
