@nenetl You don't blame me but you simply think I'm cringe lmaoWe exist in a place where it's easier for me to just say I'm Latinx as shorthand then list out my entire fuckin ethnic and racial heritage to any rando who asks. Is that a byproduct of colonialism? Sure. But that same colonialism is the same reason I'm so far removed from my indigenous heritage that I don't even feel like I have a claim to any of it so there really isn't even another word to use for me.

Polite reminder that while it is essential that people who are *able* should utilize the image description function and add alt text for people reliant on screenreaders... please don't assume that everyone who doesn't do so is ignorant or doing so out of malice.There are competing disabilities that make even something as "simple" as adding alt text not so easy. Near every time I see a PSA about alt text, people neglect to phrase it in a way that is considerate of this.#accessibility #captions

Basically, I encourage people to continue to remind abled folks that alt text is essential for inclusivity and educate on how to utilize it. However, please please please do so in a way that is in itself inclusive.I've BEEN and sometimes still am that competing disability and it always sucks being treated like you're lazy or malicious because people forget there's multiple types of disability.#accessibility #disability

My cat is really sick and we can't get her to the vet until Monday morning, two days from now. Pacha finally fell asleep behind a bookshelf in the side office where she feels safe. Glad to see her curled up and sleeping and not just bristly and on edge. She drank a little bit of water and then went pee so she's hydrating at least.

I also got a calorie gel you're meant to give to underweight kittens to help keep her from losing too much more weight, she seems to really like the taste.
