@Miaourt This is some quite sad news. Niu has been a home for me as an introduction into the fediverse. I learned a lot since then. It's sad to hear that one of the best places I have been on is closing it doors. I am glad that I spread my presence as far out and wide just encase this ever happens but it seems that day has finally come. Long live niu.

@Ste1lar @absturztaube @pyromage I had the same issue myself. I ended up having to manually notify everyone that I was relocating and tried my hardest to get everyone that followed me on one place to do so on another. It was well worth the time patience to follow through with. Other than that, you got plenty of time to migrate. Niu doesn't shut down until ~4 months from now.

@proxeus @pyromage @Ste1lar I've done that once before. All that does is puts a redish box above the timeline stating where you migrated to and will then give you a hyperlink to then remote follow to there. It doesn't do anything else. A temp solution at best.
