Phryne knows what you have done and will be waiting until you confess.

@mjg59 It took two years for next door to have a complete renovation. That was not fun at all. Also we are getting new sashes in a month or so, which requires moving our library. 3000 books take a lot of space.

@mjg59 Is that Danny O’Brien narrating? It’s like a TV version of NTK!

@mjg59 At least you get one. The UK government has decided to continue to, as Boris said, "Let it rip."

@mjg59 One reason we have two different Dualits: one has four wide slots for bread and bagels, one has two narrow slots for different bread sizes and a basket for sandwiches and crumpets. Then there's the pannini press for making toasties...Oh so bougie.

@mjg59 You probably need to track down some of the original Connectix folk for that; a lot of this is based on their work that later became Hyper-V.

Possibly the last mainline steam of the year through Putney, 34046 Braunton heading to Dover with Saphos Trains' re-creation of the classic Golden Arrow service.

More of Braunton in action. I like the moodiness of the light through the steam as it passes through the pillars of the broken bridge.

@mjg59 Most amusing was when I was doing consulting work in Hong Kong for the London office of a San Francisco-based company. HK is 8 hours from each of them, so both had to take the hit for my noon team calls...

@mjg59 Maybe someone ought to remind the Chromium team that they killed the token binding spec.

A nice progressive move from Labour: apparently James Timpson is being given a peerage and made prisons minister. For non UK folk, his high street chain of key cutting and shoe repair shops has a policy of employing ex-convicts giving them decent jobs to avoid reoffending. It works.
