So here's an interesting challenge: At our instance, we have language restriction to ensure that we can apply moderation and keep it a nice and friendly place. Currently that means toots in Danish or English only. Recently we've seen excessive boosts of posts in other languages, which leads raises questions about rules and responsibility when boosting.As I see it, you're re-tooting, which means local server rules apply. Sure, you can't be expected to extensively fact check the original toot, but you can at least check that it doesn't go directly against the local server rules.Thoughts?#mastoadmin

Om tre uger kører jeg igen fra Aarhus til #Kyiv i #Ukraine – og igen bag rattet af en doneret firhjulstrækker for organisationen @bilertilukraine. Som tidligere skal bilerne køres hele vejen igennem Tyskland og Polen for at nå den polsk/ukrainske grænse, hvor vi får et solidt knald på den bureaukratiske brille i form af pas, told-, eksport- og importpapirarbejde. Herefter går turen videre til L’viv hvor vi overnatter, og til sidst kører vi til turens endelige mål – Ukraines hovedstad Kyiv.Biler og eventuelle andre donationer overgives til organisationen Ініціатива Е+ som vi har fuldstændig tillid til. De har fingeren på pulsen, og ved præcist hvor donationerne skal sendes hen, for at gøre størst forskel. En sjælden gang imellem får vi en hilsen retur fra modtagerne – her f.eks. en firhjulstrukken transporter som Bo kørte til Ukraine i august: https://www.facebook.com/helpEplus/videos/1244257882925259/I kan holde os kørende på #MobilePay 669994. @thor I've got 4 servers at Hetzner for ~350€/month. Admittedly they're also doing other things, but Mastodon is hands down the biggest resource hog, primarily in terms of storage needs, but it isn't subtle with the CPU cycles either.

@stux I suffered something along those lines a couple of years back - this though, turned out to be gall stones, and I had my gall bladder removed as the pain was getting insufferable. Never thought they'd cut me open, but there you go. All good now though - hope you'll be too :-)
