       @shoq This feels a shade too judgmental, especially as you're on what's essentially the default mastodon server. I do think far too big a deal has been made about the hurdle of choosing a server. But I also think that if we want wider adoption we could put better tools and directories in place to help people land where it makes sense for them. (By "we" I mean people who are better developers than me.) #Mastodon

       @jameskoole Zuck and company are taking Insta and Facebook down the same path of enshittification. 50% ads and sponsored content. It's like hanging out with your friends in a really crappy mall that's about to be condemned. (#enshittification borrowed from @pluralistic with gratitude.)
