       @internetarchive @mmasnick I'm really tired of how much Tech Dirt perpetuates the hypocrisy of the Internet Archive. Brewster Kahlo made millions selling his technology to "create" the Internet--and yet doesn't think that book authors (and the companies that published them) have a right to be paid for what they create through e-book licenses.  Then IA then has the audacity to charge real libraries for digitizing books the library actually purchased. For shame...

       @CliffWade Sadly, yes, I still use #Twitter, but only because my clients remain on there--am trying to get them to switch over. However, I never post my own content there anymore--and rarely did even before mastodon began--because of how much I despised the hypocrisy of so much that go posted.
