But no banana.1) The virus did cone from hybridization and mutation in the wild in bats in southern china.2) There was no lab leak. Though the safety of the lab could have been better, that did not come into play.3) Scientists didn't create the virus or the changes in it, They did experiments involving many viruses to determine how close they were to being extremely dangerous. That played no roll in SARS-CoV-2

@joeinwynnewood @professorhank #COVID Excellent question. How would you change society to make disease transmission dramatically less?We've seen pieces of this with work from home, delivery services. Dramatically improved ventilation and other tech. It requires giving up things companies don't want to give up. Remote workers are more efficient (most often - not all). But managers really want to be eyes on on employees.What else can we do?

So they are no longer Justices and can never hold any office again. But getting there requires the President to declare that and eject them, then send 6 new nominations to the Senate, and have the Senate confirm them. Currently that is all but impossible. ....

@joeinwynnewood @professorhankALL NINE Justices violated 14 3 in aiding and abetting an insurrectionist (Trump) in Colorado v. US. 6 of 9 violated it again in Trump v. US on immunity.It specifically does NOT require any judge to agree. It requires only reading the plain text of the #Constitution, the action of the President, and of the Senate confirming replacements. The Pres. controls Treasury hence funding. And per #SCOTUS has unreviewable power.Take them up on that. Throw them out.

@joeinwynnewood @professorhank #SCOTUS Any Judge or Justice who attempts to intervene likewise violates 14 3. Instantly remove and replace them as well. No impeachment required. By their acts under 14 3 they simply cease to be Judges or Justices as a consequence of their actions.What is required is a President willing to fulffill their oath to the #Constitution as chief law enforcement officer. Nothing more.The check on a rogue President is impeachment.

@strypey The numbers have shifted even more since 2019, and the silent generation is all but gone. Boomers are retiring in droves to sit and rail at TVs. It is time now for the generational hand off. And knowing the shifts dynamics SHOULD be front and center of the policies #Harris selects. Instead, on so many fronts she seems guided by the boomers. @docjosiahboone @enirenberg #COVID Tempest in a teapot. We know that immunity to strains of #SarsCoV2 is NOT lasting. This is independent from the virus mutating and hybridizing to forms that immunity does NOT protect against. Both reduce immune protection.It doesn't matter whether it is vaccine derived immunity, or disease induced immunity. Both fade quickly, for both active disease and memory of immunity.This is part of how our immune system works against RNA viruses.
