       @liampomfret You and/or the linked @wired “journalist” could have researched a bit.The founders of telegram fled Russia in 2014, after having had to hand over their “VK” network (a successful Facebook like social network).Telegram is situated in virgins islands & operates from Dubai.Telegram does not encrypt messages per default…you have to create “secure chats”. All other communication is plain text.But hey - of course, as Russians, they are all evil per se, right?🤮
