@hund you mean enable it every time. For the list, you do it once. The list could have a few frequently used sites only.

@hund Ok, apparently tSh, saves the results in autoconfig.yml, so it can be permanent. I didn't not know about this. haha

I've been using so many window managers, at the same time, on my different machines: spectrwm, herbstluftwm, stumpwm, and bspwm. This was manageable mainly thanks to sxhkd. Now, I finally consolidated all to bspwm. That's because I finally gave up on virtual monitors on my ultrawide. It's much more flexible to rely on the split ratio, and bspwm's very powerful window placement rules.

@chriswere On YouTube I watch most things in 360p perfectly fine. Only exception would be if there are things to read on the screen. Otherwise, my download quota wouldn't survive a week :)

@hund "alternatives". The problem is telemetry itself... Doesn't matter what service is used, even if they host it themselves.

@hund On Desktop it's Arch, if it disappeared, I'll probably move to OpenBSD. If it has to be Linux based, Alpine or GUIX are possibilities. On servers, CentOS actually did disappear :) I'm moving to openSUSE Leap.

@ChrisWere Does Wordpress have like a "lite" editor? Or maybe one could be added?

@redstarfish It should be enough, you can also backup with gpg itself:gpg2 -a --output backupkeys.gpg --export-secret-keys --export-options export-backupThis can then be imported with gpg.I do both, just in case.

@cameron Yes, managing npm and all the modules and versions, global and local, can get messy...Jekyll is possibly easier, but it is also modular, and depends on Ruby and it's modules.I use Hugo, which is a single program, no modules scattered around anywhere.

@kev I tried Jekyll initially, I don't remember the details, but aren't they are very similar?I decided on Hugo eventually, mainly because it is a single binary.I push my changes to a git repo, which builds and syncs the modifications to the web root. So, on the web server, I only need to have Hugo, instead of node, npm, ruby and all the modules. @cameron

@kev Ever since Microsoft took over Github, it became redundant for them as compared to VSCode.I don't see a successful rebirth of Atom, as most people would likely move to VSCode much faster than anyone can keep up.A real alternative to al this is Emacs, for those who are ready to put the initial learning time.
