@rmsnot a surprise that many chinese schools and companies already banned masks because 'the pandemic is over'. Even wearing a mask *before* than pandemic is much less problematic than nowadays.

@rms he is ethnic korean, so that name makes perfect sense.however some ethnic koreans in China also use Chinese names nowadays, like Jin Xing.

@rms well, at least citibank china supports GNU/Linux and chinese local banks all require proprietary browser plugins only for windows and macOSthough citibank china is closing its personal business; I don't know how long I can use their banking account and credit card.

@iank IIRC many years ago amazon used USPS for shipping from US to China, but basically I lost half of the packages (if I didn't receive it amazon will issue a refund or resend it so not a big problem). Not sure if the problem happened in US or China.nowadays they use some logistic company instead of USPS, which is much less likely to lose.
