What's funny to me is that we used to program the GUI all the time back in the ... 1980s, if memory serves. Don't even ask me which system ... it was 1990-1992. The things were more open-source, although not in the strictest sense.

Bluff Dale, TexasTexas towns often have old storefronts that are converted to active businesses. I need to drive down to Bluff Dale again and take more photos; they're less than an hour away, and the countryside is breathtaking. These places remind me of my childhood.

I haven't run into a lot of real conservatives who are bonkers about being microchipped. Meanwhile, I personally know some other types who are bonkers about the whole thing: bright-eyed, excited.

It's funny about beautiful women; guys are horribly intimidated by them. I found out long ago that they're exactly like everybody else, and sometimes even more insecure; they wonder if they're actually unattractive, but they're perfectly approachable.

@thefinn@poa.st So Hilarious. One gal I could have gone out with (she was Miss Fill-In-The-Well-Known-City-Name contest winner) from whom I learned that, although she was a knockout, she was a tad flaky.

Those women do the math at quantum speed; if he's openly criminal, she ends up with total leverage over the relationship, from beginning to its carefully planned end.

@BGreen777, Hi! I have a demo version of my new song finished. How would you like to hear it? I'm thinking of sticking random animation on it, so at least there's a video.

Forcing myself to start each day is prime. I used to drink coffee and each chocolate before each session, and I always noted how many pages I wrote, with a one-page-per-day minimum. The routine helped grind production into my daily life.
