@Debradelai @browneyedsquirrel @SKHECH The context was somebody looking for an organized effort, my response cited an organized effort to educate, and the Mission Statement and Leadership descriptions on the referenced web page clearly explain that it’s an organized education effort. If that’s “promoting fundraising without context”, I’m not following you at all.

@drawandstrike Yes and no. The Supreme Court sets its own schedule; it can set dates for briefs, then for oral argument, then issue an opinion, on whatever timetable it decides. (See Bush v. Gore, 2000.)That said, there are standard court procedures that lay out the deadlines for briefs, and the schedule for oral argument — if that schedule is already filled through June, then yes, the arguments would be heard “next term” (starts in October), and the case decided sometime after that.
