@stux I wouldn't have known if I hadn't gotten a "New trends pending for review" in regards to #TwitterDown lmao

@realcaseyrollins @stux By default, yes - it's configurable by your instance administrator however!

@realcaseyrollins @stux I'm assuming the news feature is "Trending Links" - if so, then yep! My instance is relatively new and comprises just me though, so I haven't seen anything on that front just yet :D

@splitshockvirus Well yes - this tends to be the case for *anything* made by humans.

Apparently my Mastodon VM ran out of disk space... whoops...

@james Oh wow! Yeah I definitely need to get some sort of monitoring setup for it (other than a up/down alert which I already have setup) - I don't think I've ever had to worry about disk space on any of my other services, including my Matrix server haha.

@BrodieOnLinux LMFAOSomeone needs a lesson on the concept of trust (and what happens when you break it), not to mention quite a few other things as well...

@atlas_core Just as a small heads up, I believe most people are using "Prism Launcher" these days, which is a fork of PolyMC (which itself is a fork of MultiMC) due to some sort of controversy that occurred a bit ago.

Oh hey, Spotify supports #Android 14's swipe-back-to-preview thing, neat! First third party app that I've seen that works with it so far.

@atlas_core That's odd, I'm not seeing any glitches with it - but it doesn't seem to support the new back mode 😞 (I don't even know what to call the feature lol)

@orbitalmartian They are definitely quite intriguing! I jumped onto Fedora Kinoite via uBlue's installer a few months ago and have been really enjoying it. I'm also looking forward to VanillaOS 2.0!

@OpenComputeDesign :blobhug: I know it's sometimes hard to see the negatives as a positive (something that is difficult for me far too often), but I definitely believe you'll ace it next time! :blobpats:

@atlas I have very little C[++] experience but I do know with most compilers you can also specify a custom library path, like `-L/home/dev/openssl/lib` (add a search path for libraries) and then add `-lopenssl` (add the library)Zero clue about Conan though, I didn't even know it was a thing until now lmao

@jeff @atlas Interesting, I never got much of a chance to play around with cmake except for when I made a very brief hello world in CLion at one point lol

@atlas @jeff That's as far as I understand it, with CMake being more capable of "Hey, I made this library, here's something you can include to CMake so that the library is included for you" rather than you having to explicitly modify your whole Makefile to work around it... I think, at least

@hehemrin This is definitely me with KDE's (until February) default "Single click acts like a double click" setting, got used to it and changed it back to what every other desktop uses it.... annnnd would single-click to open something, and wonder why nothing was happening...
