       @chairgirlhands It's always fun to have this argument from a utilitarian perspective, and to be like "we have to look at how many cis people are actually making this mistake vs how many trans people are getting to actually live their lives and what the actual impacts of those are," and have people respond with "if it happens to one person that's too much."At best it's horrifying status quo bias, at worst it's that they automatically discard the lives of trans people. And they never want to engage with the actual numbers.
