@futurebird @glennsills But these people Are Entitled. They pay large amounts of money to live in a nice suburbz so they don't have to deal with City Taxes and City Congestion.They're rude to the core, because thay're selfish and speshul. Can't possibly take public transportation. 😒

@futurebird I agree with you, the precomplicance is maddening. OTOH I have always faught gender BS with intentional confusion, and when castigating jerks for using diminutives to address me, I'd be like "I have a name, use it!" Since grade school I refused to mark the box for sex on standardized tests. The only place that matters is when getting accurate medical care. Everywhere else? "gendered pronouns" are just stupid white male supremacy labelling to set social retrictions and expectations. One could say I'm a fan of the singular They for eveything. Need to clarify? use their name.

@futurebird I wonder if she thought she was outsmarting you by eating around the pills. She knew something was up, but the stirred paste was all suss, until there was a more obvious target to avoid.One of my cat was able to "swallow" without actually swallowing the tiny shard I needed her to take. (A very small pill that got quartered). I once held her head up, mouth closed, and stroking her throat for 15 clock minutes, and at least 6+ detected "swallows." When I let her go, she looked me in the eye, walked over to a wooden chair, and deposited the now-mushy shard on the chair leg. Then sat next to it, to make sure I observed her mastery of the situation.

@futurebird @roytoo Others remarked that they use physical donations to rotate the contents of the emergency pantry stock. You know, those shelf-stable items for when a storm or emergency breaks things.A great idea to keep things from expiring and then being sad, uneaten food, since it is theoretically good food that you'd want to eat.
