@sir some proprietary debugger detection exists. I know that shit from work. I don't know exactly how it works but I guess they do at least timing measurements.

@sir @haskal it matrix is an open spec. Annoying clients are not matrix' (= the spec) fault. It's the clients which need to be fixed in order to be less annoying for irc users.

@sir why do you need so much milk? It's not healthy. Furthermore, milk sold in us supermarkets tastes like everything but fresh milk (disclaimer: my grandma lives at a small farm in Bavaria. I know the real stuff.).

@sir My company uses client certificates. Every employee has a Smartcard with his certificate. In order to manage holidays, download contract documents, ... you need to go to a website, do client side tls stuff using your smartcard and voila. It is cool despite the smartcard requires proprietary software :/

@sir I use a ducky one2 keyboard in german hardware layout. I type neo2 (https://neo-layout.org/) which is optimized for german and english. Neo2 has a few features which are quite useful, e.g. arrow keys on layer4 on the left hand. Quite better to use than hjkl known from vim, since it is globally available in all applications.

@sir you should be happy that you don't live in Germany. We have no speed limit on our autobahns (similar to the us' interstates). Imagine the feeling while driving a not reasonably fast car.
