one thing that shooketh me growing up was the fact that the winter olympics existed, because until then i thought the only olympics is the one that takes place on 2012, 2016, 2020. then i found out that the winter olympics exist, just that indonesia doesn't take part (it IS a tropical country). feels weird thinking that there are people who have always known that there are two olympiads.
