       @mjg59 interesting. I’d guess toybox on your phone is being built with SVE whereas the coreutils on the laptop is barely using any vector code as it’s a generic distro.

       @mjg59 Both coreutils and toybox do hashing with libcrypto so yeah I'd guess compiler tune and available instructions is making a big difference.

       @ariadne As that's a browser based benchmark I'm guessing that's mostly down to either a missing or really basic JITter for loongarch? My M1 in Safari scored 28...
