       I get that you have to rebrand every now and then. I'm in the “I’ll get used to it" camp.But really, the use of negative space in the new Nationwide logo is odd. My brain sees the "penguin of doom" more than the house.(For non-UK folks, this is the recent rebrand of a national organisation who are a member-owned financial organisation)

       @simon @jasontucker I don’t get people saying WordPress is best for this. That requires so much infrastructure and tooling that could break or be hacked.Static HTML files are the way to go.But a domain for a large number of years. Hosting will come and go. AWS maybe? Very hard to say.

       I appreciate creativity, but I do find it odd that in WordPress I often see people using WordPress for things it really shouldn't be used for, and NOT using it for things it would be really good at. 🤷‍♂️

       What are people's thoughts on Kagi search? Is it good? Do you happily pay for it? Are you concerned that some revenue goes to Yandex?I'm trying it out and wrestling with the moral implications. But that wrestling has also got me thinking about the fact that I happily give money to Google and Apple and is that any better these days? 🤔

       On the one hand I don’t want too much personal stuff on the internet. But on the other hand, I am a person. And it’s good to read the personal stuff of others. So here we go.It’s been a mixed week. My son played in his school piano festival (on a £40,000 grand piano!) and did awesome. My daughter got her orange belt in taekwondo. Hooray!But today I spent a lot of time nursing a very sick girl and juggling the whole both-parents-working situation. Gah!!
