       Maharashtra is test balloon. In 2024 if BJP does not get majority in LS, President Kovind will still invite BJP leader (Modi / Shah) to form the Govt and claim in SC that President’s actions can’t be scrutinised by Judiciary. One step closer to Dictatorship.

       Mukul Rohatgi in SC: ‘What were they doing for 19 days?’ He should at least know Constitution envisages formation of a Govt that enjoys support of a majority of Legislators/ Parliamentarians. Not a  Govt that can be formed  in the shortest possible time.

       Probably SC should have ordered composite floor test today. We will need to wait one more day to see SC’s attitude on Maharashtra crisis. By tomorrow we will know whether SC retains capability to interpret Constitution or it has been Gogoised.

       Mukul Rohatgi advanced a very dangerous argument in SC. He says Governor’s actions can’t be scrutinised in SC. If it is accepted, obviously President’s orders can’t even be discussed in Court. We very well know all Governors and the President are rubber stamps of Modi / Shah. So in 2024 even if BJP wins one Parliamentary seat, it is open for President to invite Modi to take oath as PM and no one can question him. If this is not dictatorship, what is?

       @SilkyNsa I really don’t think Modi will trust Pawar as President. What he needs is a Rubber Stamp. And Pawar is rather independent. Yes, they might offer him a Cabinet post. Even Pawar would be reluctant to accept a promise that may materialise after 3 years

       Are SC judges mythical monkeys of Gandhi - unable to see, hear or speak? All of us saw 162 MLAs of SS/ NCP/ Cong stand together, unitedly speak in one voice about their determination to remain together and fight together. Yet SC judges can only hear the overbearing voices of Tushar Mehta and Mukul Rohtagi; and not gather enough courage to say that Fadnavis Govt is a fraud on Democracy.
