I'm looking to migrate our website domains to services not owned by google/squarespace, and our web host to something cheaper than bluehost.It's just a simple wordpress website for a card game, Penguinslap.com. We don't really get any traffic at all. Very occasionally we make a sale, and those links redirect to a PayPal site. @florenciocano Never heard of them until now, but they look like exactly what I need! Bluehost was charging me $263/2yrs, which comes to about $11/month. And on top of that I think the domain was $12/yr? So $12/mo for both.At @hetzner it looks like it'll only be $2/mo. One-sixth the cost! And them being on mastodon already tells me they're my kind of company. :DThank you for the recommendation!

@florenciocano @hetzner Ok, so I've set up my account and added my debit card and everything. I went to buy the level 1 hosting and was unable to complete it because I needed to complete my profile. I didn't know what information was missing, so I contacted support. They told me I needed to verify my account....while I was asleep. Then an hour later they said they were deactivating my account due to concerns. I guess I didn't respond fast enough.I don't think Hetzner is a good fit.
