@Kyou@yumejosh.ing @RehnyNytes256@shota.house I don't know much about the PM, but what I do know is that she specifically appointed a Half-Amercan, Hetalia CD Producer (true Fujoshi to this day; very anti-censorship, very pro-otaku) to be the Japan's Minister of State for Economic Security, which deals with things like foreigner policies. The English language is about 2/3 Romance&Greek, and only about 1/4 Germanic. Out of the 66% Romance&Greek vocabulary in the English language, about 30% is Latin, 30% is French, and 6 percent is Greek. However, out of the 25% vocabulary that is derived from Germanic languages, only about 20% is from Old English. Therefore, to say that the English language has about 31% French loanwords sounds about right, but to claim that the English language has 62% words from Old English is an extreme overstatement....I wrote this and realized that the pie chart was for the first 1000 most commonly used words in English. Ah, that makes so much more sense now. My bad my bad.

On December 15th, 2025, for the first time ever in my life, I went inside HIKKY's office in Tokyo! For those of you who don't know, HIKKY Co. Ltd. is the company behind Virtual Market, the largest event in Virtual Reality!
