So today our whiny, lazy faggot of a B-tech was finishing up an 86 Ranger 4x4 that I called a bunch of work on the other day. It should have gone out yesterday, but he drags his ass more than a dog with worms. It's still in the shop tonight, because he's a fucking retard. After replacing almost the entire brake system and the belts, he took it down the street on a test drive. Twenty minutes later he walks into the office and says we're going to need a tow truck because "The axle popped out. It happens sometimes." Of course, since I know he's a retard and constant fuckup, I drove down the street to take a look at it, since he was trying to go "guard it until the tow truck gets there because the keys are in it", despite having another brake job to do. I get there and what do I find? The wheel and drum fell off because his stupid ass didn't tighten the lug nuts. So I call the boss and tell him that we don't need a tow truck, and drive back to get a breaker bar and a jack, drive back to the truck, jack the truck up, put the wheel and drum back on, and poach a lug nut from each of the other three wheels to secure the one that fell off until I get it back into the shop. Of course the walking fuckup didn't think it was a big deal. Probably going to bludgeon him with a hammer on Monday. @awg @nerthos Because it's hard to find techs. The problem is that the owners only seem to hire people with a shit ton of baggage and issues. Aside from the owners themselves and our maintenance guy, I'm the only person in the company without a bunch of baggage. When I was hired, the assistant manager/b-tech was a drug addicted whigger on probation for robbing a Red Box. He got fired for showing up to work late all the time and doing piss poor work because he was high all the time. Drove a beat to shit Towncar until it was stolen and trashed, then drove a Civic with a cracked engine block that was constantly overheating because he prioritized putting a stereo in it instead of replacing the motor. He was replaced with two techs. One, a fat nigger who did time in prison for being a drug dealer, was absolutely incompetent and lazy. Didn't know shit about cars. Drove a beat to shit Delta 88 that didn't go into reverse. The other is this moron, who drives a barely running Tahoe, and has court every other week, rarely ever actually works five days a week, can't finish anything in a timely manner or without breaking shit, constantly goes over the boss' head to the regional manager, leaves for lunch in the middle of a job when the customer is waiting, leaves for Starbucks in the middle of a job when the customer is waiting, is homeless because he can't afford a place to live and his child support payments on kids that aren't even his, and spends most of the day sitting in his truck playing on his phone and smoking cigarettes even when there are cars to work on. The other stores are even more fucked up, and don't even pay their own bills. We subsidize them every week.

@nerthos I would strongly recommend that everyone lern2car. Labor is the biggest part of most repair bills. I did my timing belt, water pump, cam seals, crank seal, and valve cover gasket a few months ago. Cost me roughly 200 in parts. If I'd paid someone to do all that, it'd have cost me $2000.
