       @GayDeceiver Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? That bites… Classroom training and lectures often ask for feedback about the course matériels and trainer’s skills - let them know about this and they may do something to correct it.

       @davidnjoku For me, #Mastodon is a happier place than Twitter ever was. I follow many people who experience the world so differently from me, and that gives me greater perspective on my own life. The arguments and dissenting opinions I’ve seen are most often thoughtful and philosophical versus rhetorical and vitriolic.

       Today, I celebrate my one year anniversary of joining Mastodon. In this time, I've been able to expand my smallish world by following unique people with diverse perspectives and lived experiences — my Mastodon community exemplifies intelligence, activism, humour, compassion, kindness, support and above all, inclusivity. There is much more thoughtful discussion here than I’ve experienced on other platforms. I sit back and actively listen to others and learn more about myself in so doing. Cheers!

       @KimCrayton1 Thank you! I need to hear strong black voices to help me recognize my own white privilege and bias. To challenge and change my inner dialogues and belief systems (all of which has been formed by a racist and misogynist society). Always a work in progress. My external strategy is developing. Simple things like believing there is racism in the Fediverse, and reporting and blocking are the bare minimum. Followed by using my privilege to effect change in my world.
