It's been raining for hours, which put a damper on my plans for working in the garden. It didn't stop this fox squirrel from breakfast though. This is the first year, and we have been here 25 years, that we have had regular squirrel visitors. @historyofpunkrock I saw them several times, including at the Albert Hall, in London in the early 80s. They were one of those bands, like New Order, who could be bloody awful or absolutely spellbinding.

Mimu is another of our rescues. She was found in a box with ‘please help me’ written on it. Both back legs were ‘amputated’ near the ‘elbow’, how we don’t know. Mimu thinks she runs our house, and has the murder mittens to prove it. #caturday #cats #feralrescue #catsOfMastodon

I have a rather casual approach to gardening. Plants grow where they grow, and self seed where they will. Except for our desert willows, which I prune each spring. These “thistles” may be Amethyst Sea Holly, and they self-seed all over. I really like the blue foliage. #plants #garden

T-Lo, The Little One, is a TNR cat who was released, and later had an accident which resulted in the amputation of her back right leg. She was saved by a local rescuer, and then came to live with us. @futurebird we had to go to our local Credit Union yesterday. We went into the branch, and I expressed surprise that there was a cat in the manager’s office. It took a few seconds to realize that it was a lego cat like yours. Very cool. 🐈⬛

@historyofpunkrock I saw them several times in London, always a great show. One I regret missing was a show they played with Joe Strummer, as Shane was ‘away’. That would have been classic. The show was recorded, and released as part of a box set a couple of years ago.
