@joaopinheiro Could you try it from a different system, or even a mobile device?

@joaopinheiro And thank you for reporting it. It already helped fix that problem with the Friendica nodes showing wrong user profiles.

@joaopinheiro Forgot to mention that their software is absolutely the BEST I have ever seen for vpns. So light and fast. Really a nice provider, and generous to allow basic level service free for users who only require a few endpoints (3 countries included in the free tier).

@write_as Very neat, thank you.Question -- the Write.as API, is it accessible via write.freely instances for their own user blogs and posts?I would love to use @dino project for creating a posts index. But my blogs are elsewhere on WF hosts. Thank you!

@write_as @dino Thank you, that is excellent!Dino, would you consider changing your page to allow changing the hard coded Write.as address for the instance account?I would love to create an index, it's my Tech blog's first annivesary this week, and I have many pages which were a pleasure to write and publish. If you can do that, it would be greatly appreciated -- and I would put the word out in the Fediverse.Thank you!@rgx is my main account.Main blog is : https://write.tedomum.net/rgx/

@InBabel That is lovely, thank you for sharing.I think, many times, of the hands which shaped things I see while visiting places inhabited for centuries. All things must pass. Greetings!

** On MarkDown Learning, Tutorial, and Editors **@joaopinheiro And I came back, on a quiet moment to read your new blog page. Very nice - I really enjoyed it, and think it can be useful to other people as well.Same as you, I first learned about MarkDown upon getting started with blogging - using the Write.Freely software, which is the free open source version of the Write.as blog. This is just the Beginning of today's Blog post...https://write.tedomum.net/rgx/on-markdown-learning-tutorial-and-editors

@InBabel I vividly remember my reflections earlier last year, while visiting a 17th century church in Coimbra, Portugal.A simple and beatuiful one. The altars were all made of wood, and had exquisite carving, plus fine goldleaf applied in many places. Wonderful artisanal work. They also had large areas which were hand painted, and so vivid, even now, 300 years later.

@InBabel I thought about all the people who worked on these - the woodworkers, the stonemasons who built the church itself, the painters who left such nice work for the future visitors.I chatted a bit with a gentleman who volunteers there for upkeeping the church, and we shared the wonder of this being touching us, so far after the work was created.Very humbling. So much of what we do today will not last at all.Have a good day! ✨🌞🙂

@chrispanag > but haven't seen great value on other Fediverse offerings. Am I missing something? 😅 Yes, I would say so. Mastodon is the biggest platform in the Fediverse, but not the only one and there's a lot more to experience. For example, Pleroma is similar to Mastodon, but has a much more modern design - from the engine up to the front end user interface.Things like Markdown text formatting, larger maximum toot sizes which are almost non-existant in mastodon instances... @chrispanag ... except in Glitch-Social ones, are common in Pleroma instances.A much lighter system. Easier to install and run, requiring less hardware. With more choices, and advanced features for the users.Yes, there's a lot to see in Fediverse.

@dino @write_as Thank you, Dino!Appreciate your effort, hope we can get it working. I tried with my two write.freely accounts, one being the tedomum.net one, and it did not work. Same with the second one. It did produce the output with my write.as account, but that one only has a single post atm. Thank you for working on this. Happy New Year!

Creating a site specific Search box in a Write.Freely blog - possible, with DuckDuckGoPlease see my post at the Write.as Discourse forum for details -- I managed to create a custom search box for my Write.freely blog using DDG.Cannot be done with Google's Custom Search as it requires JavaScript -- disabled on WF for security reasons.BUT DDG can do, and it uses an iFrame. Tested and working.https://discuss.write.as/t/creating-a-site-specific-search-box-in-a-write-freely-blog-possible-with-duckduckgo/2271Screenshots show Forum post and a Custom search page for TeDomum.net blog.
