@CubicleNate That's a sweet feature I didn't know about despite also being unable to move away from KMail for nearly a decade (I find nothing else out there fulfils all the things it can do quite as well, but it does take a bit of time to learn all the ways to use it well).I usually sort my multiple mailboxes using the Favourites folder feature. So I didn't notice this method of email management.Thanks for the highlight!

@CubicleNate Oh yeah. There have been a few bumps. I remember one time I totally couldn't use KMail because the latest update stopped downloading new messages, and I was not notified, until I thought it odd no one was writing back to me and checked my webmail!Can't live without it now as part of the Kontact suite.

@rakyat @atomicpoet Somewhere along the way, people lost or didn't gain the experience owning, maintaining, or building their own desktops. Practically speaking, I am the only person in my social circle working primarily with my desktop simply because it's the best bang for the buck, and I don't have to be mobile for my work, usually.

There was a recent troll who came into the OpenSUSE mailing list to stir up some shit and I liked how the majority of the responses basically told him to go pound sand, because he was merely asking for the pride rainbow iconography to be removed from OpenSUSE's Reddit page because he reasoned, this distro project should "not be oriented towards any particular group or ideology."FOSS is a political project. I can understand if the complaint was about not giving time to celebrate other events, but this one was definitely not a concern raised in good faith after the Reddit mods confirmed dude just has a case of incurable homophobia.Your related post on reddit to this was determined on reddit as homophobiafrom both the openSUSE Reddit Mods Team and the Reddit safety team due tocertain comments made which I will not repeat and is a clear violation ofthe openSUSE Code of Conduct so it was removed from r/opensuse.
