@farhan So #crostini uses a #LXD container inside of a virtual machine (crosvm). By default, if you have a server running in your container, #ChromeOS will automatically forward localhost to the container. You can login to the VM to access LXD with this crosh command:vmc start terminaTermina is the name of the VM. #Nintendo should just do a #sega and stop making consoles and port it's games to #Google #Stadia and #Android. That way I can use my Lenovo Chromebook Duet tablet as a much better version of the Switch. lol

@farhan No I don't think you do have to be root. I don't think root access is possible in Termina though because it's a read only VM so you can only spawn containters and do whatever you want inside them.

@ChrisWere @cassidyjames Yeah the Stadia controller is really nice. I love the Wasabi color! I'd like to add that I can't afford to build a gaming PC just to play games when I'm more of a casual gamer. So it's awesome to have access to games whenever I want on any device I want (mostly).

[1/2] Due to #covid and generally not being happy in my job, I've been fighting deep #depression. Fortunately, it has also given me the time to reflect on what I've been doing and where I want to be in my life. I'm going to start #blogging more and #microblogging more here in the #fediverse as a creative outlet for my thoughts and ideas. I plan to #deletefacebook but doing the work in advance to make sure I keep in touch with the people who matter to me. I'll try to be more social too.

[2/2] If I simplify my job and my business maybe I won't be so overwhelmed and burned out. I'm really tired of being so down and isolating myself, so I'm going to try to be more open online and say what I feel but do so on the #openweb to ensure that my thoughts and feelings aren't used to make money for some rich asshole. We'll see how it goes. In the meantime, look forward to me tooting more in the near future about lots of tech and political stuff. Sorry for the long ramble.

@chriswere While I don't hate the modern #web, I do agree that it has evolved into something bigger that what it was originally. That's not a bad thing but I totally understand why having a proper document delivery protocol could be useful in 2021. I find this very interesting and I will definitely be trying a few #Gemini clients on my #Chromebook via the #Linux #container. Great video! 😁

Why do I feel like #Ubuntu is basically going to turn into #Chromeos only it's #Flutter #Linux apps instead of #web and #android apps? I'm not saying that's a bad thing but it's interesting.
