       @strypey With the caveat that there are still plenty of ideas which harm their ecosystem, but not badly enough to prevent propagation. E.g. conspiracy theories.It's a good way of looking at the idea though 🙂.

       @RobRNZ13 @strypey @JeffHowell No issues with slowness for me (official mastodon app on Android 13). But I also only just got the notification about your question: I didn't see it at the time you posted it.Other notifications seem to be happening at the correct time. I do occasionally get notified over and over again about the same poll.

       @theadmin Thanks - I like the improved clarity.Are you able to expand a bit on the rationale for rule 3? This one is a problem for me - I have for a number of years operated two accounts on Twitter in order to keep my involvement in political discussion separate from my real-world identity. I don't feel safe discussing politics online with my real name / business / etc attached to it, but rule 3 renders that split approach to managing the situation impossible.

Not expecting exemptions (and your server, so your rules 🙂); just wanted to understand a bit better, as it seems like an odd restriction - one person's activity & resource usage is still one person's activity & resource usage, whether it's spread across one account or two.I'll set up my real-identity account on a different server.
