@BrodieOnLinux I did see some performance improvements with Wayland on low end hardware (Intel Pentium with integrated graphics) but there were stutters when I opened menus and there was so much screen tearing when browsing with Firefox. I was using arch with GNOME. I like the idea but I think it needs a little bit of time specially for low end hardware like mine.

@BrodieOnLinux not only Windows 7 has one of the best desktops, its also pretty, lightweight, accesible and great for playing old games since an old PC cant play games like Call of Duty 1 on linux using wine or proton.

@BrodieOnLinux yeah obviously, I have a machine that is great to play xp era games but since it still has 4gb of ram I have a debian based distro installed for office work and multimedia. When it starts to fall off then I will install or vista or 7 for old school gaming (without internet obviously).
