       Just looked at my potato plants and it looks like I've got another #florespondence. Maybe I'll get a neat potato fruit and I can mess around with growing potato from seed (cause why not). Though for now I'm just enjoying this pretty flower.

       Hey social media archive enthusiasts, why aren't you out there taking photographs of every piece of graffiti and childrens' sidewalk chalk drawing in your local park as it's being made? It'd seem a bit creepy, right?

       @clive I personally would hypothesize and like to see tested how our eyes adjust from bright lights inside the cab being glanced at to a darker night environment. People glance at their phones, smartwatches or installed LCD display quickly to check stuff like directions, the name of the song playing, a text, their A/C, etc. Beyond just distraction, which would also be a factor during the day, our eyes take time to adjust to lower light conditions and quick glances at the bright displays (and as others in this thread have noted brighter headlights) would be my guess for the increase in night time collisions.

       @futurebird Turns out about 2/3rds of people who voted on this have more faith than me in our institutions. Cause while I would want one of the above (considering our carceral justice system), I expect he will receive no real sentencing beyond some monetary penalty. The courts have definitely eroded my trust in them over the last several years.

       @futurebird I feel bad for that dude that keeps getting woken up for the sole purpose of using the bathroom every night. Short-lived grumpy life, but at least there is that relief at the end before ending their existence by tucking themselves back in to bed.Maybe I should take measures to not create that person tonight before I tuck myself into bed to end my existence 🤔
