       I am genuinely surprised how many folks are putting their Instagram out there as an alternative to Twitter. It's far more broadcast than community/reply structured. The image first model does brings neither joy nor depth. And to top it all off, it's owned by Zuck.I wish #pixelfed was more mature so I could use it as professional portfolio but at the very least insta seems like a terrible place to self organize ourselves.

       @aral @EUCommission I couldn't get it to work with my digital ID (maybe because my eID is issued by country of residence which differs from my nationality?) — but I did manage to sign with the form. I hope that counts equally.
