@selea Hmm, feature request for next year: Weather prediction for area around your planned stays during your vacation so that other people may avoid the intersection of times & places? 😉

@mjg59 probably same as why I still remember 0xffd2 triggered by your post. I doubt I had this address in mind for at least 30 odd yrs.

@wauz @AkaSci "The use of IP adresses from China doesn't necessarily say, that the aggressors are Chinese"True, and nowhere in the toot nor the linked blog post is this asserted, isn't it? Thus, going via the abuse system may hopefully help a bit, but then I do have my doubts...

*seufz*#telekom DSL Probleme remote debugging macht keinen Spaß.

Also jetzt Rolle rückwärts, Vertrag storniert und neuen Vertrag suchen/schließen

@neil @selea just adding - I bought a couple of these https://nous.technology/product/a1t.html and flashed tasmota on these. You can hook these up to #homeassistant or go to these directly via a browser and possibly much more.

Weiß da jemand was?#followerpower

@unknown231 same here, depending on task sometimes also a few dozen lines (but then my code 'style' is pretty wide, e.g. `then` is placed on its own line). My sign to turn to better (scripting) languages is usually, when positional command line arguments don't cut it anymore and I would need to use `getopts`.

@selea @boltronics looking at https://github.com/saltstack/great-module-migration/blob/main/community-ext-modules.txt it almost seems safe to safe, if you use #saltstack beyond file.managed you could be screwed 😉 (expressed terribly sarcastically )

@selea same here, not really sure, what I should really do with those and if it's still worth receiving them.

@hetzner at the moment only an ancient EX41S (hopefully not the last one) and 1-2 CX22.Why?* Price* Availability - surprisingly good hardware (in over 10 yrs only a single faulty main board which was replaced promptly)* Fast (initial set-up, support)* API access for a lot of things

@vague @toddz @admin possibly some hiccup with the latest v4.4.0 version. So far for me, reloading/restarting browser has not helped and the latest post I see in "Home" is from 22:10Z

@musicmatze you mean like, for example, how saltstack botched the 3006.17 release?

@musicmatze configuration management (like ansible, cfengine, puppet, ...) https://github.com/saltstackupgrading from .16 to .17 adds many, many ERROR lines to your logs while it still mostly works:https://github.com/saltstack/salt/issues/68485https://github.com/saltstack/salt/issues/68486https://github.com/saltstack/salt/issues/68487

This variable stores the index of the first element in an array, and of the first character in a substring. The default is 0, but you could theoretically set it to 1 to make Perl behave more like awk (or Fortran) when subscripting and when evaluating the index() and substr() functions.
