@stux I like it but can’t really use it until it is able to catch up on my timeline overnight. It just won’t load all the posts (only does 20 or so, and refreshing doesn’t let me get at older ones)

@simon pro tip: aiohttp with the Idempotency-Key header ser works fine (I prefer to have full control over the connection and requests, it’s maybe 5 lines to set up).

If anyone here owns or knows someone who manages AS103 (#Northwestern #University), I've just blocked your entire AS from my #activitypub server because some clever chap is running a buggy #mastodon #crawler from IP 129.105.31.75 that keeps issuing requests every second or so.User-Agent is just "Python/3.10 aiohttp/3.8.5", so I’d look for either a lazy undergrad or an overconfident tenured professor… Anyone in the middle would know what they are doing.
