       @stux A lot of people think of North and South America as young by European standards, but there is a very long history of indigenous towns and cities. My city of New Orleans is considered an old city in the United States since it was "founded" in 1718 as a French colony. However the trading hub called Bulbancha ("place of many tongues" in Chocktaw) where Bienville planted the French flag predated him by an estimated 3,000 years.
