Hi fedi, how do MUCs in XMPP work? Are they like IRC channels which are public and anyone can join? Can I like for example make a private group for me and others in a public XMPP server? Or the admins are the only one who can make the MUC rooms?#xmpp (Not sure if I should put this tag)

@Effortless not sure if this is a dumb take, but isn't one of its concern is the lethally high interest rates? Like most of their payments go to paying just for the monthly interest.

i'm planning to buy a #thinkpad #x230.how bad is the trackpad? Some say it's useable and some just hate it to the point of disabling it. I will not be using dwm or other tilling window managers, so I'll fairly use the trackpad.
