@frameworkcomputer a motherboard with a RISC V CPU that's powerful enough to run rust analyzer without any noticeable hanging (so basically core i7 8th gen or faster) I know that's absolutely unreasonable, but that would just be so sweet

@jimsalter love it, happy to have played a small part 😂I first saw the panel when i was 15, my friend at the time who was a huge Marvel Comic book fan, and dreamed of getting a motorcycle the minute he turned 18 kept it as his computer wallpaper for a long time. It was fun then, as now.

@frameworkcomputer seems like a short-sighted naming scheme for a CPU. We all know that even though it's named max, it'll be surpassed by AMD themselves before too long, and what is that chip going to be called? Awesome hardware though ❤️

@stux honestly I'm fine with a bit of fireworks. We usually have an organization per town that takes care of decorating lampposts for Christmas, etc. I'd be fine with every place having a fireworks show (or two, one early so the small kids can see) new years eve, and fireworks not being something everyone gets to dabble in. It would greatly reduce the amount burnt off every year, it would increase safety. And it would also be a better looking show than what everyone is going in their yard

@codemonkeymike are they all coming from the domain "web.request"? 🤔I'm no expert, i just listened to @jimsalter talk about, on @25admins, how his wiki was targeted.It got several requests a second from changing IPs. To me this just sounds close to what such a scraper would if it for, whatever reason, decided it was a php site

@Nonilex its so easy, when you just have to tell others what to do, to disregard the value of human life. I sort of wish i could enforce Eddard Starks words from ASoIaF: "The man who pass the sentence should also swing the sword. If you would take a man's life, you owe it to him, to look him in the eye"I doubt these cowards would have the resolve for that.
