yk I thought a bit ago that rejecting a follow request just meant "you can't read my private posts" but I just realized that it also makes my unlisted posts less accessible to them bc they have to actually go to my profile and scroll through my feed to read my unlisted posts (which is kinda creepy and I don't like that)addendum: I just looked at my RSS feed and it turns out those also show unlisted posts, so ppl can follow my public/unlisted feed via RSS and see them more naturally

honestly I think some of the most self-centered people ever are those who comment on posts, videos, creative works, commentaries, etc with "no one cares" or something else along the lines of "this doesn't benefit/entertain me personally so you shouldn't have posted it"

ever notice how people only defend parents above everyone else when it comes to abuse or treating the children as their property? when parents try to get their kids the help they need, they're ignored. when parents help their kids transition, they're demonized. people who say they're pro-parent actually hate most actual good parents.

@happykhan the coolest thing my sister ever did was when she was like 10 or 11 and our town was trying to get rid of the library to save money or some shit and we went to the city council meeting and she gave testimonial, like a whole ass speech, with the line "what's a city without a library?" and so the town decided against cutting the library and the library started using that (modified slightly) as a slogan
