@Hoss @verita84 It's going to happen to China first which will cascade and collapse most of the world economy before we ever even hit this barrier.Their financial strategy is identical to ours except with more debt, more money printing, lower birthrates, and an export economy that relies entirely on the Middle East to function. @Hoss @verita84 They'll probably mostly survive as an entity, like Russia after the Soviet collapse, but they're going to have to give up a lot of their ambitions.Most of South America only survives through Chinese investment. Russia as well. China will probably regress into a Dark Age, which it's survived through many times before. The birthrate is a killer though, it basically makes the situation irrecoverable for them in the short term.

They're going to import the 3rd world to survive, they have to, but they're too small for any remnant of them to survive, so they're just going to eradicate themselves. Anything special they have now will be gone in 50 years.
