Great piece on the art of being underestimated @ThomasWic https://quodverum.com/2019/03/60/it-s-alway-great-to-be-underestimated-.html

@TexasTruthTeller @REX I agree with the premise—lying is the problem but it is a symptom of not being able/willing to accept any opinions/ideas incongruent with their own. Lying is their tonic and it allows them to rationalize their opinions and beliefs. It is the nature of their “the ends justify the means” pathology.

@Kambeii exactly... election integrity is THE issue. We can’t vote the criminals out if they steal the votes.

@wziminer @Mongo3804 @Give_Me_Liberty @jimb157 As a scientist having 20 years experience in academia I wholeheartedly agree. Academic snobs are the worst because they truly believe they are smarter and BETTER than the vast majority of people they encounter. In reality, most of my colleagues are so far removed from the "real world" they have lost the ability to think rationally, much less critically.

@umad80 @IHaveAFewQuestions @Lisa22 talk is cheap. Scott Pressler talks but backs it up. He is a national treasure IMHO.

@StarLasswell thank you for taking the time to point this out. Facts matter. For the record, the team members she suggests would be included in my first string team too.

@ThomasWic i don’t say much but in this area, I feel justified to share what I know. I have a Ph.D. in neuroscience. While it is correct to say MRI images are monochrome there is a caveat—MRI images in effect display differential levels of water content. A static structural MRI will not be displayed using color. However, if multiple MRI scans of the same volume are taken in succession, they can display changes in water content, or in this case increased blood flow.
