After successfully going from 175lbs to 138lbs over last year Covid-19 has me back up to 151lbs. My hand to God it is down to a lot more home cooked meals throughout the day and no exercise.So I have decided to go back to a 16:8 fasting (18:6 wasnt sustainable) and do a stationary bike ride from Malin Head to Brow Head. 599km! I. Can. Do. This.

Going through some environmental awareness training. And they have stock video footage of "greenhouse gases". ALL of which are just steam vents on factories. Literally all the clips are steam vents.Maybe show some car/lorry/train exhausts? The ferries from Ireland to the UK? Air travel? My freaking oil burning heat pump?!

It's fish and chips day at work (unusual as it's typically Friday). Alas, it is whiting. Ironically the whitest of fish. Bland. Default. The only place in the world which rivals Cork fish is Whitby. Video called dad, and he fed the birds while on the call. So delightful.Also discovered that my bird book is Reader's Digest from 1981, so I probably need to get an updated one 😅Any #birdwatchers have recommendations for bird books for the British Isles? I'd be interested in ones laid out like my one. It has maps with each bird showing land coverage. Or at least indication of rarity in each location. As well as identifying marks when the birds are in flight.#birdwatching

While I was taking part in my twice daily traffic participation, I had a realisation.I do not want to work from home at all at all. My home office is where my gaming computer is, and where I screen print, do ceramics, make things, etc. I also do not want my home spoiled by work.But.70 eur a week to cause traffic sucks. Any #tips from people working from home? Especially from people who already have personal rigs, etc, at home. Not kitchen table workers, however.#wfh #boostswelcome

@matt you can fall and bump the head and be grand, or get delayed concussion, or be insta-killed. Cyclists need to learn from motorcycles. ATGATT. All the gear, all the time.Delayed concussion and brain issues here from falling off a horse, and it was stationary. I was grand immediately after. But within 12 hours, I deteriorated significantly.

Let me tell you a story for this #Caturday. I moved an armchair into my study so Fred wouldn't steal my office chair when I stood up. It didn't work. I have now bought a new office chair. He hasn't nicked it yet. But. I fear this will become an "it's turtles all the way down" situation, and I'll have a line of office chairs leading into the forest and beyond.
