Oof, the extent to which performative social media VIPs and platforms will go out of their way to not engage community or support independent and marginalised artists is palpable, demoralising and sad.Even here in the slightly alternative socials.From the nuts and bolts of development, to the taste making of narrative hijacking "curators", down to your album or show announcement.There was more hype about the fest coming then now when the artists are right here sharing their voice!

Help us with one last push out there, that there was an organic way. There is a community way. We must improve artistic agency and normalise more direct support, collaboration and mutual motivation.These cost dearly in human exhaustion against a backdrop of terrible number go up models and infinite hurdles.Be the ONE awesome person today or this week that drops a dono to an artist, or drops them a kind note of support, or helps them promote an event.For heck sake, lift one another up.
