Hey, folks. First, I'm well aware that I'm not really active on social media. Apologies, I just don't have it in me to read about all the awful shit out there. I'm much better reading books and taking photos lately. The thing is, they've cut my hours at work. Again. And it's pretty suboptimal. I'm looking for a new one, but it's been a pain lately because there's basically nothing I can find that's going to provide for me the same as my current job. I also attended therapy, but cut ties with my therapist because... well, she's been quite an asshole. I'm yet to find a new one. And yes, this is a begpost. Because - as usual - I'm not too good on money, and I could use some help if good souls among you want to help a student like me doing my best. I have yet to pay some obligations, the rent is basically the 1/3 of my monthly budget and I'm quite anxious about it. Hi, I need to move places. Like, I need to change the flat I'm renting right now. And it's pretty suboptimal because I have little to no money for that. The place I'm renting right now is way too expensive, especially with my work hours being cut and life not being too kind lately. Right now, I'll basically have to find a new place to live, collect a security deposit, move, and possibly change jobs all in the span on a month and a half. I'll also have to graduate at university. Hey, So, dear folks. I've lost my job. I got laid-off. I'm still looking for a new one, I've applied for 150 oddjobs over night and I'm counting for the best, but it will take time while I'm unfortunately lacking a stable income. Of course, they'll eventually pay me for the work I've put in next month, and I've still got some remaining money from the last month's paycheck – but it's not much, for they've cut my hours in half. Searching for a job was, unfortunately, quite difficult because nobody seems to call or answer e-mails for the jobs I apply for. But we all know, it takes time. Fiscal anxiety strikes again! So please, please, please, please, if you have anything you could spare to a struggling young man trying his best to stay afloat, I'll appreciate it a lot. The rent I'm paying is a lot and I'm also currently looking for a new and cheaper place to stay. I'm also going to attempt graduating by finishing my thesis and doing the graduation thing. Lost a job, looking for a new place to stay URGENT MUTUAL AID.Guys, as I've stated previously, I've recently got laid off at my job. It's pretty bad. It wasn't good before because they basically halved my work hours, which yielded a lot less money than I expected to earn. This alone, even before firing me, was pretty suboptimal and basically put me in a precarious position. They've also told me that starting with September, my rent will go up, so I need to move. I'm currently searching for both a new place (a room) and a new job. I've applied for a lot of jobs, but so far, over the week, I have got no answers. URGENT mutual aidI've lost my job recently. It happened after having my hours nearly cut in half, which meant only half the money last month. I honestly thought it was just my boss having a scheduling trouble because a lot had happened a month prior, and it was chaotic, but no, they just fired me. Bastards. It was a standard layoff, too. Just because they felt like it. No notice, too. Just learnt I don't have a job one day. So, I'm looking for a new room to rent, so I spend less to house myself and I'm searching for a new job -- any job, really -- to keep me afloat during this. But I'm having terrible luck, or maybe the job market is just scuffed? Can't tell for sure. The room searching isn't good, either. All the guys want to rent it for a full year, which is like, crazy. And the real culprit is, you know, that the payday is on the 8th of the month, and right now, I've got something like 320 PLN, which is an equivalent of roughly $90. So it's not good. It's not that I'm panicking -- I can't afford to -- but the situation could be much better. If you helped. So please, help if you can. Because that would make a difference. Urgent Mutual Aid - lost a job & forced to move I was recently fired from my job - suddenly, unexpectedly, and without a safety net. Right now, I’m deep in the trenches of job hunting, sending out dozens of applications daily, and facing rejection after rejection in an economy that feels like it’s actively trying to spit me out. Hundreds of job offers! Nobody is calling! Things are working as intended!To make matters worse, I’m also being forced to move. I can no longer afford my current place, and I’m scrambling to find somewhere cheaper and fiscally safer to live, which - surprise! - also costs money I barely have. Fuck yeah! I’m exhausted. Emotionally, mentally, financially. The system is fucked and we all know that - the rent is skyrocketing, the jobs pay fuck-all and expect you to sacrifice all personal time to it. It would go directly toward keeping me afloat: rent, food, transit, and all the hidden costs of surviving capitalism while jobless and displaced. Aside from the $400, some of you were kind enough to donate (and thank you deeply for that) I’ve got a small, final paycheck coming in on September 8th. After that? Nothing. No income. No backup. No safety net. Just the crushing weight of reality bearing down on me.Nobody's calling. Nobody gives a shit. They just reject me time and time again. And I live in one of the biggest cities in Poland. You’d think that would count for something. It doesn’t.
