       @EvolLove @JimmyWalnuts It's complicated.They can be a good investment for a household, because the price of energy at the meter is much higher than at the power station.But they are a net negative for society as a whole as they produce energy when it is already abundant and do nothing when it is scarce.This makes the control of the grid more expensive - a cost that is paid by everyone.Certainly not a thing to be encouraged or even subsidized.
